A resident of Orsha marked her 100th anniversary
The centenary was celebrated on January 1 by the resident of Orsha Valentina Timofeevna Grigorieva. On this significant date, she was personally congratulated by the head of the Orsha district Igor Moroz.
Valentina Timofeevna has a difficult fate. A former prisoner of fascist concentration camps, she endured all the hardships and deprivations of wartime life. The heavy trials did not break her; on the contrary, they tempered her character and taught her to cherish every moment of peaceful life. Cheerful and full of life, she has not lost her optimism and faith in kindness. As long as she can remember, Valentina Timofeevna loves to sing. Even now, in her venerable years, she sings folk songs. She worked as a painter for over 45 years at one enterprise — the Orsha distance of civil structures of NGCh-7 of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian railway.
Now she is surrounded by the care of her loved ones. Valentina Timofeevna is a wealthy grandmother. She has seven grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, and one great-great-grandson.
As part of the "From the Heart" campaign, employees and the director of the territorial center for social services Ekaterina Murenkova. also joined in the congratulations. This unique marathon of good deeds, which takes place annually in our country until January 15, gives the older generation moments of joy and confirms that they are remembered and cared for.
The guests warmly congratulated the jubilarian and wished her health, warmth of soul and tranquility, care and attention from loved ones.
