Bulletin«Population Health and Environment of Orshansky District»: tasks for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals» is intended to provide information-analytical support for interdepartmental interaction in addressing issues of disease prevention and the formation of a healthy lifestyle among the resident population, in the context of achieving the targets and indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals (hereinafter – SDG indicators) in the Orshansky district.
The bulletin provides a characterization of the condition, levels, trends and risks to population health, assesses the hygienic and anti-epidemic aspects of ensuring the quality of the living environment of the population based on an analysis of the implementation by entities of socio-economic activity of the Law of the Republic of Belarus \"On the sanitary-epidemiological welfare of the population\" of January 7, 2012 No. 340-Z.(in the edition of 30.06.2016 No. 387-Z).
The bulletin is prepared on the basis of reporting, informational-analytical and other data of the state institution «Orshansky Zonal Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology», the data bank of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus on SDG indicators, the republican database of socio-hygienic monitoring, local health administration databases of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the State Institution «Vitebsk Regional Center of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health», the Orshansky District Executive Committee, the municipal health unit «Orshansky Central Polyclinic», the Orshansky District Inspection of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and others.
