📜 Regulatory framework

The primary document governing legal relations in the field of consumer rights protection is the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Consumer Rights Protection” (hereinafter – the Law). The Law applies to relations between consumers and manufacturers, sellers, suppliers, representatives, performers, repair organizations, arising from contracts of retail sale, contract work, lease, insurance, storage, energy supply, commission, passenger transport, cargo transport, paid services and other similar contracts.

The protection of consumer rights for housing and communal services is carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On the Protection of Consumer Rights in Housing and Communal Services».

In the Orshansky district, state consumer rights protection and monitoring of compliance with consumer protection legislation is carried out:
