The international exhibition project "Collegium" in Orsha gathered a record number of participants

More than 130 artists from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the People's Republic of China, along with about 200 works, were gathered by the annual exhibition project "Collegium," the grand opening of which took place today at the V. A. Gromyko Orsha City Art Gallery.

The opening of the first "Collegium" took place in late October 2009. It featured a total of twenty-one artists from Baranovichi, Brest, Vitebsk, Vyazma, Molodechno, Minsk, Orsha, and Smolensk. In 2025, a record number of project participants was announced – 114 from 34 cities, and the exhibition included more than 170 works created in various techniques and genres.

The guests and participants of the exhibition were welcomed by Maria Shmatova, head of the ideological work and youth affairs department of the Orsha District Executive Committee, who noted that the project provides a wonderful opportunity not only to get acquainted with and enjoy the creativity of authors from different cities but also to strengthen friendly ties between our countries.

"Collegium" is not just an exhibition, but a true celebration of creativity that year after year brings together authors from various countries under one roof. The project unites different genres, styles, and techniques, reflecting current trends in art and the cultural features of each participating country.

The exhibition project "Collegium" is a unique opportunity to see how representative authors from different countries and generations interpret common themes, express their unique ideas, and share thoughts and emotions. It is a bridge that connects people and cultures, proving that art can unite and inspire.

The "Collegium" exhibition will run until March 29, 2026, inclusive, and takes place at: 6a Vladimir Lenin Street, 2nd floor. Opening hours: from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, daily, except Mondays.
