Engaging youth in Komsomol activities: from projects to a system and work quality

On April 16, 2025, at the Minsk State Linguistic University, a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus took place, dedicated to the relevant topic: "Engaging Youth in the Activities of Public Associations 'Belarusian Republican Youth Union': From Projects to System and Quality of Work".

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed: Increasing the effectiveness of youth projects – how to make them more large-scale and in demand among students and schoolchildren.

A systematic approach in the work of the BRSM – transitioning from one-time actions to long-term programs aimed at developing leadership qualities, volunteering, and professional orientation.

Quality and accessibility of youth initiatives – the need to create conditions for the participation of youth from different regions of the country.

Interaction with educational institutions – how schools and universities can contribute to engaging students in the activities of the BRSM.

??The conducted meeting confirmed that systematic and quality work with youth is an important element of the state policy of Belarus. The BRSM, with the support of the Ministry of Education, will continue to create conditions for the active involvement of young people in public life, helping them realize their ideas and aspirations for the benefit of the country.
