The servicemen of military unit 5524 of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took the oath.
"I solemnly swear!" – with these words in Vitebsk at the Square of the Coat of Arms and Flag, the new recruits of military unit 5524 pledged allegiance to the Motherland and the Belarusian people. The students of the military-patriotic club "Vityaz" also took their oath.
– The oath is an important component in the upbringing of the younger generation. Thanks to this ritual, the conscript becomes a real man, a defender of his land, his Fatherland. It is gratifying to note that the oath of the servicemen and the students of the military-patriotic club took place at a new location in Vitebsk – the Square of the Flag and Coat of Arms. This solemn moment will be remembered by the guys for a long time, – emphasized the chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin.
The commander of military unit 5524, Colonel Alexander Usmanov, reported that 55 servicemen of the conscription service and 32 servicemen called up for contract service pledged allegiance to the Motherland.
– The guys have already completed general military and initial military training. In the future, after the completion of the training assembly, they will be reorganized into units. The conscripts will be distributed to Vitebsk and Polotsk. Those called up for contract service will go to Orsha, Hlybokaye, Novopolotsk, and part will remain in Vitebsk to perform official combat tasks carried out by internal troops in accordance with the law, – noted Alexander Usmanov.
The recruits solemnly pledged to be loyal to the Belarusian people, to strictly observe the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, to fulfill the requirements of military regulations, orders of commanders and superiors, and to bravely and selflessly defend the independence of their country.
Among them is Farid Novikov, for whom defending the Fatherland is a sacred duty.
– Service in the army raises real men, disciplines, and improves physical training. Today is a very exciting and solemn moment for me and my comrades. Every man should go through this school, – shared the recruit.
