Attention: severe weather conditions!

Currently, according to the information from Belhydromet, fog has thickened over most of the country, and in many areas, there are short-term rains. Visibility is 100-500 m.

The first thing a driver should do in fog is to reduce speed and turn on low beam headlights. On the highway, "fog lights" are most effective. It is important to increase the distance and lateral interval, and not to make unnecessary lane changes or sharp maneuvers.

When approaching pedestrian crossings, public transport stops, intersections, and railway crossings, in conditions of poor visibility, one should slow down and be extremely attentive.

Pedestrians need to indicate their presence on the road by wearing high-visibility clothing, and in the dark — reflective elements. Cross the roadway only at designated places, ensuring in advance that drivers have noticed you and have had time to stop.
