Vice Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich paid a working visit to Orsha
Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich got acquainted with the industrial potential and investment projects of the Orsha district as part of the initiative "One district – one project".
The Vice Prime Minister visited the branch of OJSC "BELAZ" – the managing company of the "BELAZ-HOLDING" holding – "Industry of Rings", at RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill" and at OJSC "Orsha Tool Factory".
At the "Industry of Rings" enterprise, one of the largest investment projects of BELAZ is being implemented: "Organization of ring rolling production with the reconstruction of the production shop block". Here, there will be a modern high-tech production of ring blanks, which are used in machine engineering, aircraft engine manufacturing, nuclear energy, shipbuilding, and other industries. By the way, it will be the first in the country, as such products are not produced in Belarus.
Here, Viktor Karankevich observed the progress of the equipment installation work. At the Orsha Linen Mill, together with the chairperson of the "Bellegprom" concern Tatyana Lugina he got acquainted with the work of the production factories and shops, and the range of products produced.
