"Viten" equalized the score in the final of the Belarus mini-football championship
The Orsha "Viten" equalized the score in the golden series of the Belarusian mini-football championship, reports BELTA correspondent.
After a home defeat in the first match against "Stolitsa" (4:5) on June 11, the Orsha team managed to win at the Minsk sports complex "Uručče" also by a minimal margin - 3:2. The third match of the best-of-three series will take place on June 15 in Orsha. These opponents met in the final series in 2014, and then the "capital team" won with an overall score of 3:2, claiming their first championship title. In total, "Stolitsa" has won gold six times, including three consecutive seasons, while "Viten" has five championship titles, the last of which was won in 2021.
After two matches in the bronze series, the score is also tied - 1:1. In the first game, Gomel's VRZ defeated "Minsk" at home with a score of 3:1, and on June 10, the Minsk team took revenge on their home ground with a result of 4:1. The decisive match for the bronze of the 36th national championship will take place on June 14 in Gomel.
In the golden series of last season, "Stolitsa" defeated VRZ (3:0) and became the national champion for the sixth time. "Dorožnik" has the same number of titles. The bronze was claimed by "Viten", which defeated "Minsk" twice in the third-place series.
