The Vitebsk Regional Department of the Social Protection Fund of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection informs

In accordance with Decree No. 367 "On voluntary insurance of additional accumulative pension", starting from October 1, 2022, working citizens, who have at least 3 years until reaching the established retirement age, have the opportunity to accumulate additional pension savings with the financial support of the state.

How to do this:

-    conclude a pension insurance contract with the state enterprise "Stravita";

-    choose the pension contribution rate – from 2% to 13% of the accrued salary, of which:

from 1% to 10% - withheld from the employee; 

from 1% to 3% - paid by the employer;

-    notify the employer about the conclusion of the additional accumulative pension insurance contract by submitting an application for withholding the insurance contribution, which is to be paid from the employee's funds;

-     determine the term for receiving your additional pension – within 5 or 10 years after reaching the established retirement age.

Key advantages:

-   financial independence – pension payments will not be limited to just the state pension;

-   personal control of savings – the amount of the monthly insurance contribution can be changed depending on financial circumstances or temporarily suspended;

-   savings are protected by the state from inflation and invested in reliable assets, allowing savings to grow faster than with regular bank storage;

-   receiving a tax benefit – a tax deduction of 13% of the amount of paid insurance contributions, which is returned to the employee from the paid income tax;

-   financial discipline – the contract helps to systematically save money, turning it into a useful habit;

-   inheritance of pension savings in case of the employee's death – payment to heirs of the savings is made in a lump sum.

In the Vitebsk region, the number of participants in the voluntary additional accumulative pension insurance program with state financial support is growing.

853 enterprises and organizations make contributions of insurance premiums to RUSP "Stravita" to the personal accounts of 5,829 employees.

Among the regions of the area, the leaders in the number of employees forming additional pension savings are the city of Novopolotsk – (1,759 participants), the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk (1,107 participants), the Orsha district – (725 participants) and the Polotsk district – (607 participants).
