Service in agencies and units for emergency situations
Requirements for candidates:
- •employees of the bodies and units for emergency situations may be citizens of the Republic of Belarus, capable by their professional and moral‑business qualities, fit in terms of health, to serve in the bodies and units for emergency situations;
- •age from 18 to 28 years. There is also the possibility of admission based on a mixed work tenure, which is 25 years, of which the latter must be at least 12.5 years of service in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Mixed tenure is calculated individually, in the department's personnel department, provided a work record book is available;
- •service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. Recruitment of citizens who have not completed compulsory military service or service in the reserve is possible, provided they have sports ranks, actively participate in the social life of educational institutions, etc.;
- •for drivers - possession of category C.
Work conditions and benefits:
- •work schedule - one day on, two days off;
- •leave from 30 to 45 days (depending on years of service);
- •provision of uniform;
- •pension provision after 20 years of service (upon reaching the age of 48);
- •opportunity to continue education in the educational institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations;

- •medical provision;
- •persons who have worked in the authorities and units for emergencies for more than 60 months are not subject to conscription for military service;
- •after graduating from a civilian university, a special rank is awarded •ensign of internal service;
- •after 5 years of service the possibility of preferential lending for shared construction of housing.
