In the Vitebsk region, applications are being accepted for the competition of civil initiative projects.
Until February 1, 2026, applications are open for the competition of civil initiative projects aimed at the development of territories, improving the quality of life of the population, and the improvement of settlements.
As explained by the executive directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Association of Local Councils of Deputies, a civil initiative project is a structured initiative that describes the current problem of a specific territory, a list of activities to solve it, and a mandatory budget calculation, including the amount of co-financing. An application with information about the initiator is attached to the project.
Projects can be submitted by citizens who are at least 18 years old and permanently reside in the territory of the relevant administrative-territorial unit or its part.
Projects must be sent to the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies: in paper form – to the address: 210010, Vitebsk, Gogol Street, 6, office 207; in electronic form – to e-mail: osd@vitobl.by (with the note "Civil Initiative Project", PDF format).
Projects that have passed preliminary review will be admitted to the open competitive selection. Winners will receive financial support, while the initiator ensures co-financing of at least 10% of the requested amount.
