The Slavic Bazaar opened brightly and colorfully in Vitebsk

At the Summer Amphitheater, the fanfares of the grand opening of the XXXIV International Arts Festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" sounded. As always, it was bright, large-scale, and unforgettable.

On stage – a scattering of stars from Belarusian and foreign pop music, who gifted their creativity to the audience for three hours. Traditionally, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, participated in the grand opening of the "Slavic Bazaar." He warmly congratulated everyone on the beginning of the song forum and addressed all those who created and continue to support the "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk"

The head of state noted:

– Our "Slavic Bazaar" is a whole world of bright emotions and unforgettable impressions. Here we meet famous artists and true masters of arts every time. Here, year after year, new stars are ignited, as we like to say. In a variety of genres: from music and dance to theatrical performances and artistic projects. In a variety of styles: from folk creativity and classics to avant-garde trends of contemporary art.

The President noted that the "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" has long gone beyond the framework of Slavic brotherhood, and the cultural capital of Belarus has become a creative homeland for many artists.

– This is what we wished for when we opened the first festival. But most importantly – for more than thirty years, our festival has been an island of spiritual unity, warmth, and light. Despite any cataclysms. Agree, today this is worth a lot, – emphasized the Belarusian leader.

– The "Slavic Bazaar" has long surpassed the boundaries of an ordinary festival. Today it is a whole universe with a fascinating history, its own heroes, and atmosphere. And even with its own currency – cornflowers, – noted the President.

Alexander Lukashenko presented a special award from the President "Through Art – to Peace and Mutual Understanding" to the Russian star, performer of legendary hits Yuri Antonov, as well as the Grand Prix of the XXIII International Children's Music Competition "Vitebsk" to the Belarusian Amalia Sukhan.

Then, on the stage of the Summer Amphitheater, performed Yuri Antonov, Stas Mikhailov, Sergey Lazarev, Kim Breitburg, Taisia Povaliy, Alena Petrovskaya, Alexey Vorobyov, Anatoly Yarmolenko and the ensemble "Syabry," the Belarusian State Ensemble "Pesnyary," Ruslan Alekhno, Vladimir Gromov, Pyotr Yelfimov, the groups "Zemlyane," "AURA," "JOY," Mauro Mengali, Antonella Bucchi and other artists. The audience was amazed by the joint performance of the National Presidential Orchestra of Belarus and the Presidential Orchestra of the Commandant of the Moscow Kremlin of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation. They performed a medley of world hits. The rising stars of the Belarusian pop scene Lera Bernatovich and Artyom Skorol, Nastya Kravchenko performed brightly.

The hosts of the gala concert were the honored artist of the Republic of Belarus Elena Spiridovich, the people's artist of the Russian Federation Maxim Averin, as well as Vladimir Berezin, Maria Sittel, Olga Buzova, Theo, Pavel Lozovik, Valeria Senkevich, Taras Prisyazhnyuk.

After the end of the gala concert, the sky over Vitebsk was painted with bursts of colorful fireworks. Ahead are many creative meetings, a sea of music, and pleasant impressions.
