In Vitebsk, an exhibition of decorative‑applied and technical creativity of students and teachers has opened.
At the Vitebsk State Technological University, an exhibition of decorative-applied and technical creativity of students and employees of institutions of secondary specialized education and additional education for children and youth has opened. Within its framework, the regional stage of the republican review of innovative and technical creativity is taking place.
- This is probably the best career guidance event, - noted the deputy chairman of the regional executive committee Vyacheslav Durnov. - Here, there is an opportunity to closely examine the art objects created by both teachers and students with their own hands. The exhibits of the exhibition make a great impression. We have created an excellent base for technical creativity and have teachers who share their enthusiasm with the students.
The head of the main department of methodological support of the Vitebsk Regional Center for Professional Education Development Elena Shishkina reported that such an exhibition has been held in Vitebsk for more than three decades. Moreover, our region has repeatedly become a leader in the number of diplomas at the republican stage.
This year, the exhibition features 1000 exhibits created in various genres and techniques. Many works reflect the themes of the Year of Improvement and the 80th anniversary of Victory. One of the brightest and largest exhibitions was prepared at the Vitebsk State College of Light Industry and Technologies.
- The exhibits were created by students of the graduating classes under the guidance of teachers, - said the director of the educational institution Elena Kuchinskaya to "VV". – Some of them are diploma works of graduates. Our college trains fashion designers. Preparing for the exhibition helps students become more highly qualified specialists.
As emphasized by the head of the main department of education of the regional executive committee Dmitry Khoma, groups of high school students will regularly visit the exhibition. An excursion program has been prepared for them.
