In Vitebsk, the leading figures of the region's agricultural sector were honored.
State awards were presented to representatives of the agro-industrial complex who made a personal contribution to the development of the industry in Vitebsk region
Preceding the solemn ceremony, the chairman of the regional executive committee, Alexander Subbotin, noted that the location of the award ceremony in the restored tower of the ancient castle, from where there is a view of the central part of Vitebsk, was chosen not by chance: we want this day to be brighter and memorable. Alexander Subbotin emphasized that the awardees have shown high results over many years. They work to ensure the development of the agro-industrial complex and that there is prosperity in the country.
The gratitude of the President of the Republic of Belarus was awarded to Andrei Korenkov – repairman at OJSC "Agrocomplex 'Yubileyny'", Orsha district; medals for labor merits: Nadezhda Gribanova – deputy general director of OJSC "Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Factory", Vitebsk district; Lydia Demidova – head of the complex of the Agricultural Production Cooperative "Selection and Hybrid Center 'Zadneprovsky'" OJSC "Orsha KHP", Orsha district; Alexander Kosmakov – tractor driver at OJSC "Dubrovensky Flax Factory"; Yevgeny Melnitsky – tractor driver at the Agricultural Production Cooperative "Larinovka", Orsha district; Viktor Orlov – tractor driver at the Production Cooperative "Olgovskoye", Vitebsk district; Valentina Trotskaya – chief livestock specialist of the branch "Vesna-Energo" RUE "Vitebskenergo", Polotsk district; Natalia Shendrik – director of OJSC "Yakubovo-Agro", Dubrovensky district; Alexander Yanoshkin – tractor driver at OJSC "Kurapolye-Agro", Postavy district.
