A new dairy product complex was opened in the Verkhnyedvin district
The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, participated in the solemn opening of the new dairy cattle complex of the KUPSHP "Kohanovichi" in the Verkhnedvinsk district.
The dairy cattle complex is designed to house 2,200 head of cattle, of which 786 are milking cows. The construction cost of the facility is about 35 million rubles. The project was implemented using credit resources from OJSC "Belagroprombank" and funds from OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory" with subsequent transfer of the complex to an agricultural enterprise.
The complex, with a total area of over 34,000 square meters, includes 6 main buildings, including 2 cow barns, a milking and dairy block, a maternity unit with a section for dry cows, a shed for the prophylactic station, 12 silage trenches, as well as an administrative and household complex.
– This is the third year of the progressive implementation of the development strategy for the Vitebsk region, – noted Alexander Subbotin. – In 2023, we took on this facility to achieve worthy results. And just before the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, we are putting it into operation. More than 2,000 animals will be kept here. The complex is built according to the latest scientific standards, and it has everything needed. It remains only to adhere to the technology and achieve good results. These are the first fruits of our strategy implementation.
