In secondary school No. 21 in Orsha, the new academic year started
Today in our country is a special holiday – Knowledge Day. It is especially touching for those who will sit at their desks for the first time, and for those for whom the school bell rings for the last time.
Since early morning, there was noise and a crowd at secondary school No. 21 in Orsha, with laughter, music, and children's voices filling the air. Honored guests attended the festive line-up dedicated to the start of the school year – Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Angelika Nikitina, Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Anastasia Prokofyeva, as well as representatives of the education department, clergy, and sponsoring organizations.
The guests warmly congratulated the students and their parents on the beginning of the school year, wishing them success in their studies, patience, diligence, new discoveries, bright events, good luck, and only excellent grades. From the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Angelika Nikitina presented a certificate for 10,000 rubles to the school principal Tatyana Alantyeva for the purchase of educational equipment and learning materials.
Special attention was given today to the first graders, as they enter a new world of knowledge. This year, there are two classes of first graders in the school. Traditionally, each first-grade student received a gift from the President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko – a book titled "Belarus – Our Homeland!".
Today is also an important day for the graduates. They addressed their parting words and wishes for wonders, discoveries, and successful studies to those who stepped through the school threshold for the first time.
The ceremonial line-up concluded with the first school bell and the first lesson, the theme of which is "Relay of Generations: Preserving the Past, Creating the Future".
