At the Smolyan secondary school in the Orshansky district, the reunion evening brought together different generations of alumni and teachers.

Last Saturday, Smolyan Secondary School was filled with a special atmosphere – the traditional reunion evening took place here, gathering not only graduates but also teachers of different generations.

 From veterans whose names are inscribed in the history of education in Orsha to young specialists just starting their journey, they all came to feel once again like part of a large and friendly teaching family.

The evening began with warm greetings and sincere words of gratitude for the difficult but important work. During the ceremonial part, a time capsule with a message to students and teachers was presented to the school principal Elena Shushkevich by the teachers. The message will be preserved until 2032 and will be opened at the school's 65th anniversary.

It was pleasant to meet graduates from different years who have already become professionals in their chosen paths: military personnel, medical specialists, workers in industry, agriculture, and other fields.

Then, to the sounds of favorite melodies, informal conversations began over cups of tea with fragrant pastries. They reminisced about years of work, funny stories from school life, student successes, and, of course, those colleagues who are no longer with them.

Especially touching were the moments when veterans shared their invaluable experience, and young teachers with shining eyes listened to their wise advice. This evening became not just a meeting but a true bridge between generations, a symbol of continuity and deep respect for the profession.

The guests departed with smiles on their faces and promises to meet again. Such evenings are not only an opportunity to dive into the past but also a source of inspiration for the future, confirming that the teaching brotherhood is a force capable of overcoming any distances and years.
