Within the framework of international cooperation on the protection and rational use of transboundary water bodies, a joint Belarusian‑Russian action to clean and improve the banks of the Dnieper River took place in Orsha.

The event dedicated to World Environment Day brought together representatives of territorial bodies of the Ministry of Natural Resources, working youth, ecologists, and youth from the central office of Rosvodresursy and the Moscow-Oka basin water management.

Under the leadership of Anna Galuzo and Vakhtang Astakhov, participants planted seedlings of blue spruce, contributing to the maintenance of the cleanliness and beauty of the transboundary river.

Such initiatives emphasize the importance of international cooperation on ecological issues. Joint efforts not only improve the condition of a specific section of the river but also enhance the ecological culture of the population, especially among the youth. The planting of blue spruces symbolizes a long-term commitment to caring for nature and passing on the responsibility for its preservation to future generations.
