On the eve of the VNS in Orsha, a dialogue platform was held.
At the dialogue platform held today at the Orsha College of Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov, discussions were held on the topic "Patriot of the 21st Century".
Speakers at the event included the head of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Marina Novitskaya, and the chairwoman of the Orsha District Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, deputy of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Elena Shishakova.
Before starting communication with the students, the guests visited interactive platforms of interest groups at the college: "Defender", "Leader", the musical living room "Heritage", and participated in a master class on an unconventional way of painting a Christmas tree organized by the interest group "Folk Crafts".
– The meeting takes place on the eve of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, where the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Belarus for 2026-2030 will be considered and approved, – noted Marina Novitskaya in her communication with journalists. – The seven priorities outlined in it are what we want to convey to our youth. After all, civic and patriotic education is the basis for forming an active personality of a patriot of their country.
A conversation about patriotism is a conversation about the future. With this thought, the participants of the meeting began their communication. At the dialogue platform, they talked about their small homeland, the role of a patriot in the fate of the country, and the role of a patriotic educator in society. In today's rapidly changing world, new technologies and opportunities arise, but the love for the Motherland, history, culture, and people remains unchanged. At the same time, a significant role is assigned to the educator, teacher, mentor, who lays the foundation for the personality of the youngest citizens of our country.
A patriot of the 21st century is an indifferent person who loves their Motherland and contributes daily to its development and prosperity. This conclusion was reached by the participants of the meeting. The speakers answered all the questions of the future educators.
After the communication with the students, an experience exchange took place in the format of a round table with the college administration.
