On the first day of early voting in the presidential elections of the Republic of Belarus, the voter turnout was 7.81%. This was reported by BELTA to the CEC.
In the Brest region, 8.95% of citizens received ballots, in the Vitebsk region — 7.45%, in the Gomel region — 7.01%, in the Grodno region — 6.08%, in the Minsk region — 8.52%, in the Mogilev region — 7.25%, in Minsk — 8.54%.
There are 44,361 national observers monitoring the voting process in the country.
