In Orsha, the interregional forum of young parliamentarians “Time of Your Opportunities” took place for the first time.

At the Ice Arena, he gathered more than 50 participants from Vitebsk, Orsha, Lyozno, Mogilev, and the city of Tver in the Russian Federation. 

– The future of the country largely depends on how well we preserve the continuity of our traditions, our spiritual guidelines, and how we convey the necessity of preserving historical memory to our younger generation, – emphasized the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov.

The program of the forum includes a seminar titled "Youth Parliamentarism – a form of implementing youth policy," with the following honorary guests:

the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov;

the chairman of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies Olga Ivanova;

the chairman of the Orsha District Council of Deputies Inna Khomutovskaya;

the chairman of the Lyozno District Council of Deputies Sergey Shlyadneŭ.

Guests from the Russian Federation are also participating in the forum, members of the deputy association of the "UNITED RUSSIA" party in the Tver City Duma: Yan Baryshev and Alexander Monyakov.

Within the framework of the forum for young parliamentarians "Time of Your Opportunities," a dialogue platform "School of Effective Leadership" and a meetup "Implementation of Youth Projects" are taking place.

Master classes for young men titled "Presidential Sports" with the Hockey Club "Lokomotiv-Orsha" and "Symbols of My Country," where girls will make brooch-flags of the Republic of Belarus, were also held.
