In Orsha, the flax festival "Field of Flowers" is taking place for the second time.
To the sounds of music on the main stage of the festival, the flax festival "Field of Flowers" was launched for the second time in Orsha.
The solemn ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, the Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Igor Moroz, the General Director of the Orsha Flax Plant, Oleg Buyanov, as well as deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Council of the Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Light Industry. At the beginning, the honored guests visited interactive zones and thematic sites. They got acquainted with flax products from the Orsha Flax Plant. Then the main events moved to the main stage. The solemn concert began with performances by creative teams from the Orsha region. Opening the festival, Anzhelika Nikitina noted that, despite the fact that the "Field of Flowers" festival is still young and currently takes place within the district, it will soon become international – alongside the "Slavic Bazaar" and "Viva Braslav". The celebration continued with a fashion show of the latest clothing collections from the Orsha Flax Plant. The models were students of the Vitebsk Technological University.
