In Orsha, school students practiced practical skills in the lessons “On the Guard of the Motherland”

At the military commissariat of the Orsha and Dubrovno districts, practical classes "On Guard of the Motherland" were held.

More than a hundred students from educational institutions in the district participated in the event. The meeting took place as part of the month of military-patriotic education.

– Today, the main thing is not just theory, but real skills. We give the guys the opportunity to try themselves in action. For those who plan to connect their lives with the defense of the Motherland in the future, this is a good start. The knowledge gained will be useful not only in the army but also in everyday life, – addressed the youth the military commissar of the Orsha and Dubrovno districts Ivan Chertkov.

Representatives of the OSVOD and the Ministry of Emergency Situations also spoke before the schoolchildren. Rescuers reminded teenagers of the algorithms of actions in emergency situations and the rules of safe behavior.

The program of the classes was rich. Several thematic sites were organized for the guys. Young men and women practiced skills in disassembling and assembling a rifle, learned to provide first aid for various injuries, and demonstrated their knowledge during a thematic quiz.

One of the most spectacular locations was where participants practiced evacuation skills from a smoke-filled room.

In addition, schoolchildren mastered the art of building campfires and happily prepared treats for themselves over the fire.

Particular interest was aroused by the site of the sports shooting club "Fora", where everyone could try their hand at shooting a pistol.

Also during the event, representatives of the military enlistment office informed students about the procedure for admission to specialized educational institutions and the advantages of military service.
