In Orsha, the State Flag Square of the Republic of Belarus was solemnly opened.

On September 17, on the Day of National Unity, a significant event took place in Orsha, highlighting national unity and patriotism - the solemn ceremony of opening the square of the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus.

Honored guests attended the solemn ceremony: the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, the assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus - inspector for the Vitebsk region Vladimir Yurgevich, member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Mikhno, chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz, chairman of the Orsha District Council of Deputies Inna Khomutovskaya, as well as leaders of enterprises, organizations, patriotic clubs, public associations and organizations, political parties.

The culmination of the celebration was the raising of the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus by the employees of the Orsha City District Department for Emergency Situations.

Under the national symbol, representatives from various fields and sectors of the Orsha district, who have glorified Orsha with their valiant work and talent, as well as the best youth - a worthy successor to the older generation, solemnly took the Oath to the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus.

After the opening ceremony, the participants of the event honored the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. A solemn ceremony of laying flowers and wreaths at the memorial "Mound of Immortality" took place - a tribute of deep respect and eternal memory of the feat of those who fell for the freedom and independence of the Motherland.

The event became a demonstration of patriotism, continuity of generations, and love for their native land, uniting the residents of Orsha in this festive day.
