Orsha has become a center of business activity — the XIII International Economic Forum and the XIV Republican Universal Exhibition-Fair "Orsha Traditions" have opened here.

The opening ceremony was attended by the first deputy chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Sergey Pats, the first secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus Viktoria Sergeeva, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pskov Region Vladimir Zubov, the chairman of the economy committee of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Dmitry Novatsky, the deputy head of the administration for economics, the chairman of the finance committee of the Balashov Municipal District of the Saratov Region Irina Yurlova, the head of the economic development department of the Krasnogvardeisky District Administration of St. Petersburg Olga Savelieva, the head of the economic development and consumer market department of the Gagarin Municipal District Administration of the Smolensk Region Marina Abramenko, the deputy chairman of the Public Chamber of Tver Alexey Tretyakov, as well as delegations from partner cities in the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China.

The exhibition-fair: goods, tastings, and new opportunities. At "Orsha Traditions," a wide range of products from local enterprises is presented, as well as goods from other regions. Guests can not only familiarize themselves with the assortment but also try the products during tastings.
