В Орше стартовала отправка в войска юношей, призванных на срочную военную службу

In Orsha, the dispatch of young men conscripted for compulsory military service to the troops has started.

Since April 22, the Republic of Belarus has begun the dispatch of citizens of the Republic of Belarus, called up for compulsory military service and reserve service, to units and military formations of the Armed Forces, other troops, and military formations.

35 residents of Orsha will join the ranks of the special operations forces of the 72nd Guards Combined Training Center and border service agencies.

Traditionally, the conscripts arrived at the military commissariat of the Orsha and Dubrovno districts by 6:00 AM. Along with them, their parents, friends, and acquaintances came to share this important event. At the beginning of the event, the head of the conscription department of the military commissariat of the Orsha and Dubrovno districts Stanislav Matokhin conducted a briefing with the guys, telling them what they would face in the first days of service. He also reminded them that if they encounter any problems or difficulties, representatives of the military commissariat are always ready to help. After that, the assistant to the archpriest for youth work, the rector of the church of St. Martyr Raisa of Alexandria, priest Oleg Kravchenko held a prayer service for the blessing of the young men for military service.

The deputy chairperson of the Orsha district executive committee Anastasia Prokofyeva and the military commissar of the Orsha and Dubrovno districts Alexander Marchenko also congratulated the young men on this important stage in their lives. They also met with the parents of the conscripts, answered the most pressing questions, and informed them that on May 24, a ceremony for taking the military oath will take place for the newly arrived reinforcements in the units and military formations of the Armed Forces.

As noted in the military commissariat, traditionally, the young men from Orsha serve in the most elite units of the armed forces and border service. They always fulfill their military duty with honor, as evidenced by letters of gratitude addressed to their parents.
