In Orsha, traffic police officers reminded children of the basic rules of road behavior
Today, employees of the Traffic Police of the Orsha District Executive Committee, together with members of the youth law enforcement squad, went to the city children's park "Fairy Tale Land," where they offered the little residents of Orsha not only to have fun but also to spend their time productively. – During the summer holidays, when children have a lot of free time, additional threats to their safety on the road arise, – noted the senior inspector for propaganda and outreach of the Traffic Police department, Viktoriya Veremyeva. – Therefore, it is extremely important to remind them of the basic rules of behavior on the road once again.
The inspectors and activists prepared a quiz for the kids on the rules of safe behavior on the road: both humorous and quite serious questions about life situations in the city. For example, how to properly and safely cross the road and ride a bicycle or scooter. The children actively engaged in the communication process. The quiz turned out to be fun and engaging, and most importantly – educational.
During the event, the organizers communicated not only with the young participants of the traffic movement but also with their parents. Adults were urged to always be a positive example for their children, to tell them that they should not go onto the road from behind parked cars, and that they should cross it at a pedestrian crossing, removing their headphones beforehand, and not to be distracted by their phones.
Each meeting with new participants of the event ended with the presentation of useful gifts for children from the State Traffic Inspectorate: themed coloring books and notebooks.
