В Орше состоялись экстремальные забеги «Х-трейл»

Extreme “X-trail” runs were held in Orsha

The participants of the extreme races "Orsha X-Trail" experienced a sea of emotions. On the track at the "Kuteinka" quarry on June 29, they were greeted with a sea of water, mud, and interesting obstacles from the competition organizers.

Under pouring rain, the youngest participants – children aged 3-6 years – were the first to start. They ran 400 meters on a separate distance.

Then, children aged 8 to 11 years took to the simplified 2 km track.

Orshans took several prize places. Among girls aged 8-9, Anastasia Fyodorova took 2nd place, Victoria Avtonomova took 3rd. Among boys in this age group, Vladimir Gordienko took 3rd place. Varya Azarova took 3rd place among girls aged 10-11.

Later, teenagers aged 12-15 faced puddles and mud on the 4 km track. Ivan Shpak from Orsha won among boys aged 12-13, while Ksenia Khilko took 3rd place among girls in this age group.

The rainy weather significantly complicated the track. On slippery ascents and descents, maximum concentration was required, and the sticking clay weighed down the shoes. This was especially felt by the participants of the main races on 4 and 10 km among adults. This year, the organizers added an obstacle in the form of barriers, there was the traditional "web" over the puddle and a net on the ground. The most refreshing was the water body. The stage over it was slightly shortened due to the high water level.

In general, there was a lot of water not only on the track. Not far from the finish, a mobile bath, summer shower, and water tank were prepared for the participants.

According to the results of the 4 km race, Orshans also found themselves among the winners and prizewinners. Dmitry Golovachev took 1st place in the overall standings among men, Maria Titienkova took 2nd place in the overall standings among women, and Gleb Gulenkov took 3rd place among men over 41 years old.

All registered finishers, totaling 246 people from various regions of Belarus and Russia, received original commemorative medals from the sports and tourism department of the Orsha district executive committee. The winners and prizewinners in age groups also received cash prizes.
