В Орше работникам МЧС вручили ключи от новых арендных квартир

In Orsha, MCHS employees were handed the keys to new rental apartments

In the Orsha district, on Rescuer's Day, a solemn handing over of keys to eight rental apartments for the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took place. This is not just a gift, but a significant step in strengthening social support for those who risk their lives every day for the safety of others.

To congratulate the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on their new homes were the head of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations Sergey Meleshkin, the chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz, the chairman of the Orsha District Council of Deputies Inna Khomutovskaya, the head of the Orsha GROC Oleg Kuryatnikov, as well as the senior priest of the churches of the Orsha district, the rector of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Archpriest Valery Serko.

The words of gratitude and congratulations that sounded on that day were full of appreciation for the selfless service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees. The handing over of keys to the apartments became not only an act of social support but also a real contribution to improving the quality of life of those who work on the front lines every day in the fight against dangers, helping to save lives and property of citizens.

– For us and for the entire Orsha district, this is a significant event. We are glad that we can provide such support to our rescuers, – noted Igor Moroz. – Decent housing conditions are not just a solution to everyday issues, but also a stimulus for professional growth and confidence in the future. The implementation of such initiatives, like handing over keys to new apartments to employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, clearly demonstrates that the work of emergency service workers is valued. Issues of social security remain at the center of attention of the state and local authorities.

The new apartment building, where the families of the rescuers settled, is located on the central street of Orsha, in a new microdistrict that already has all the necessary infrastructure: schools, kindergartens, shops, and other facilities. This place will become a cozy corner for rescuers and their families.

After the solemn handing over of keys and the consecration of the apartments, the new residents, among whom are the family of Vyacheslav and Yuliya Makarevich, stepped over the threshold of their new home.

Vyacheslav has been working as a rescue master in the fire and rescue unit No. 3 for five years. His wife Yuliya is currently on maternity leave. The happy parents are raising two sons, Yegor and Gordey.

– We are very happy to have received such an opportunity. This is a great joy for our entire family, especially for the children. Living in a new house is not just an improvement in conditions, it is also confidence in the future, – shared his emotions Vyacheslav Makarevich.

For his part, Sergey Meleshkin, in an interview with a journalist, spoke about how he once received help from the state in solving housing issues. He recalled how the state helped him build a house for his family.

– For me, this day is very joyful. I am a father of many children and know what it means when the state supports in solving housing issues. I remember how I built my house with my father. I was proud that I created housing for my family with my own hands. Everything we do for our rescuers is an important contribution to their future, – noted Sergey Meleshkin.

He also emphasized that the state and local authorities continue to support large families and emergency service workers, providing them with the opportunity to improve their housing conditions. Such initiatives are an important step in supporting young families, creating stability and confidence in the future for them.

After that, a festive concert dedicated to Rescuer's Day took place at the City Palace of Culture and Creativity "Orsha". More than 30 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were awarded diplomas and certificates of various levels. Also, some of them were awarded new ranks. The cultural performances were presented by artists of the Palace of Culture, as well as employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
