A breaking school operates in Orsha
For 13 years now, the Distortion breaking school has been operating in Orsha at the base of the GCK "Victory", where kids of different ages learn to perform complex elements to music. Its founder and leader is Vladimir Nikiforov. During the existence of the breaking school, he has trained about a hundred kids. More than three hundred awards have been won at prestigious competitions in Belarus and abroad. Today, 15 kids of different ages are training with Vladimir Nikiforov. Each of them already has their own small and big successes.
Back in the early 90s and 2000s, the most informal direction was very popular throughout the country, including in our city. Today, it is no longer just a street culture, but an Olympic sport where complex elements must be performed: transitions, tricks, freezes, footworks, etc. But Orsha resident Vladimir Nikiforov invests not only the ability to master all techniques precisely in his classes, but also guides the kids in the right direction, does not let them stumble, instills in them the best qualities, helps them believe in themselves and reveal their talents and abilities.
It is time to elevate street culture and sports in Orsha to a new level. This necessity has arisen, as the number of kids engaged in graffiti, skateboarding, bicycle acrobatics, and breaking is growing every year. If they could be united, create conditions, and help realize all their talents, they would bring a lot of benefits to the city. For now, the street culture kids dream of a day when a modern skate park, a venue for bicycle acrobatics, and breaking will appear in Orsha.
This Saturday, as part of the traditional city holiday of sweet tooths and ice cream in the children's park "Fairy Tale Land" at 16:00, a breaking festival will take place. Come and support our kids!
