A charitable event “Trade Unions – Children” was held in Orsha
The marathon of good deeds continues. On the eve of Knowledge Day, a charity event "Unions – for Children" was held at the IT Academy "CompAS", aimed at supporting large families and providing assistance to those in need.
The event was organized by the Orsha District Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions.
Necessary school supplies for the new academic year were received by 21 child from 12 large families of employees of the TCSO of the Orsha District.
– Knowledge Day should be a celebration for all children. And its main attribute, of course, is gifts. For our organization, such events on the eve of the new academic year have become a good tradition. Trade unions are always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. I wish you that school life is interesting and filled with new knowledge and impressions, – said the chairperson of the Orsha District Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions Tatyana Tishkova.
She also expressed hope that in the future all participants of today's event will definitely join the ranks of trade union associations, which always help in solving various issues.
The event was not limited to the distribution of gifts. The children were introduced to the activities of the IT Academy "CompAS" and the Orsha District Center for Children and Youth. Perhaps this academic year, some of them will find another hobby and discover new horizons of knowledge.
