A district seminar on occupational safety was held in Orsha.
In Orsha, based at PU "Orshagaz", a district seminar on labor protection was held.
The theme was "Implementation of the main requirements of the Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated March 11, 2024, No. 1 'On measures to strengthen public safety and discipline' and approaches to their implementation in modern conditions".
The event began with a practical part – an introduction to the enterprise "Orshagaz". Attendees were shown innovations in the field of labor protection: a post for self-administered first aid, an artificial intelligence control system for personal protective equipment, a mobile shelter for welding and assembly work in difficult weather conditions, and more. Guests also got acquainted with the work of the training and exercise polygon and classroom.
The first deputy chairman of the Orsha district executive committee Sergey Pats participated in the event. Addressing the seminar participants, he emphasized that the issues of creating healthy and safe working conditions are an important component of any labor process today.
During the theoretical part of the event, seminar participants discussed measures to strengthen public safety and discipline at enterprises and exchanged experiences.
They also paid great attention to the work of public order protection points, preventing crimes and offenses under the influence of alcohol, ensuring the safety of people's lives on water, and the fire safety status of enterprises.
