A casting for the project "Star Trek" took place in Orsha.

At the GCK "Victory", a casting for the project "Star Path" took place — the most popular and vocal show. The project has become so beloved by viewers and participants that the organizers launched the 4th season of the show. Long before the casting began, participants and their support groups started gathering in the foyer of the Culture Center. More than 40 candidates for participation in the popular show presented their vocal data to the jury.

The feature of the project is that non-professionals can participate. "Star Path" gives everyone a chance to express themselves and their talent without having a special musical education. Today, representatives of various professions and ages came to try their vocal abilities. By the way, the oldest participant was 59 years old.

Journalist from "Arshanka" found a real exclusive among the participants – the city postman Vladimir Kusharev. He is the one who delivers the "Arshan Newspaper" to the homes of the region's residents. He is also a very creative person: he sings, dances, and composes songs and poems. He can be seen at all city celebrations, where he lights up the atmosphere with music. Videos featuring him on social media gather hundreds of thousands of views. He is even recognized on the street. Who knows, maybe in the future Vladimir Kusharev will become a real star.

Also singing since childhood is Yevgeny Dervoyed, a sales specialist at LLC "Terva". He engages in music at an amateur level and performs at events. When he worked at the company "Belarusneft", he participated in an internal competition among employees and took first place. He came to try his luck in the project "Star Path" as well.

Candidates were required to perform two musical compositions.

The professional jury, consisting of singer, Honored Artist of Belarus Irina Dorofeeva, director Yevgeny Tolkachev, and teacher, head of the vocal group "Bridge" Yevgeny Makovetsky, listened carefully to each participant, asking them to change songs or sing a cappella to better reveal their creative abilities. Despite the fact that the participants were very nervous, each tried to present themselves in the best light, showing artistry and charisma.

From our city, two participants will proceed to the project. The results of the casting will be known soon. The organizers of the project "Star Path" are the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, the ONT TV channel, and the "Musical Media Company".
