In Orsha, pothole road repairs have begun.

"Orsha Special Auto Base" is carrying out pothole repair work on city roads.

One of the advantages of pothole restoration is its speed. In most cases, the work does not require the closure of all traffic. The surface is leveled sequentially on different lanes, which does not create obstacles for vehicles.

– We monitor the roads, assess their condition, identify asphalt damage, plan the work, and begin repairs. I would like to emphasize that this repair is temporary, as the work is carried out during the snow melting conditions, which does not guarantee the durability of the patches and high operational qualities, but allows for the quick elimination of deep potholes. An organomineral mix is used for pothole repairs. The material is poured, leveled, and compacted using a vibrating machine, – says Igor Losev, the master of the road section of the Orsha Special Auto Base.

Since the beginning of the year, the municipal workers have carried out temporary pothole repairs on all bridges, along Textile Workers Avenue, and on the streets of Soviet, Kliment Timiryazev, Felix Dzerzhinsky, Novy, Friedrich Engels, Alexander Pushkin, and Sergey Kirov. Next, work will begin on the streets of Mogilevskaya, Vladimir Lenin, Mira, Ivan Flyorov, 60 years of BSSR, and others.

With the onset of favorable weather conditions, pothole repairs will continue using asphalt mixtures.
