В Орше появилась аллея Героев – уроженцев Оршанщины

In Orsha, an Alley of Heroes – natives of the Orsha region – has appeared.

On the eve of Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, an alley of War Heroes – natives of the Orsha region has appeared on Pakhaoznaya Street in Orsha.

It is located in the square behind the House of Culture of Railway Workers, on the side of the bus station along the pedestrian zone leading to secondary school No. 12.

On personal triangular steles about 2.5 m high, portraits of Heroes of the Soviet Union born in the Orsha region have been placed. Under the photographs are the dates of life and the awarding of the highest title, which was awarded in the USSR for acts of heroism or outstanding achievements during combat operations. On the other, front, side, there is a golden inscription: "Heroes of the War 1941-1945". Each of the ten steles is crowned with a red star.

The stylized monuments fit organically into the territory of the square and complemented the urban environment. They also serve as another reminder to contemporaries about our fellow countrymen-heroes. These are Higrin Boris Lvovich, Pustelnikov Semyon Silvestrovich, Chasnyk Nikolai Leontievich, Serzhantov Ivan Yakovlevich, Dudchik Pavel Andreevich, Siyanin Mikhail Danilovich, Solyanikov Anatoly Danilovich, Zavadsky Vladimir Georgievich, Kirpichyov Illarion Pavlovich, Olkhovsky Nikolai Ivanovich.
