The Orthodox culture festival 'Klad' opened in Orsha

The event is held with the blessing of the Archbishop of Vitebsk and Orsha, Dimitry, with the support of the Orsha District Executive Committee. The organizers are the St. Elizabeth Monastery and the Orthodox Sisterhood (Minsk).

A charity exhibition-fair "Kladzye" has opened at the District Culture Center "Victory", where you can purchase icons and church utensils, books for adults and children, handmade ceramics, honey and other tasty and healthy treats, herbal collections, tea, bread, and a variety of health products 

A Molieben was held. It was led by and congratulated on the opening of the exhibition-fair the dean of the central deanery of the city of Orsha, Priest Dmitry Savushkin: "May God bless and strengthen all of you for your good deeds," noted Dmitry Savushkin.

At the opening of the exhibition-fair, Maria Shmatova, head of the ideological work and youth affairs department of the Orsha District Executive Committee, spoke: "From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my deepest gratitude to you. For many years, you have given the residents of Orsha the opportunity to touch the world of spirituality, and the townspeople invariably respond to you with love, joyfully attending the festival. Behind you are many good and truly important deeds: you work with children, organize lectures that are listened to with interest by both the youth and the older generation. Thank you very much for that special atmosphere, for the opportunity to be close to you and to join together in the high," - noted Maria Shmatova.

"Kladzye" is a space for dialogue about the most important things: faith, goodness, and family values. This year, the organizers have prepared a rich program that will be interesting for both adults and children.

For young visitors, daily puppet theater performances by the "Batleyka" theater and creative workshops will take place. An interactive exhibition "Kai and Gerda" will operate, which will tell children about true friendship, courage, and loyalty through the example of a famous fairy tale.

Festival guests can also expect creative meetings and conversations with famous people. The traditional exhibition-fair will introduce the residents of Orsha and the guests of the city to unique products from the workshops of the St. Elizabeth Monastery.
