In Orsha, they discussed how social educators and teacher‑psychologists can work productively

A seminar on optimizing document flow in the activities of social educators and psychologists was held in Orsha with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Ekaterina Petrutskaya.

The event, held at the Culture Center "Victory", was attended by Dmitry Khoma, head of the main education department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Lyudmila Filipovich, head of the center for social, educational, and ideological work of the Academy of Education, leaders of educational institutions in the Vitebsk region, social and pedagogical centers, and heads of district (city) methodological offices.

– At the state level, great attention is currently paid to the organization of the educational process in schools. Yes, we are very concerned about the inner world of the child. There are specialists in schools who directly deal with the inner world, emotions, the development of feelings, helping children resolve internal conflicts that may arise in the family or in communication with peers. We are talking about social educators and psychologists. In order to help them organize more effective work with children and their parents, we want to emphasize certain points, – noted Lyudmila Filipovich in a conversation with journalists. – So that the heads of educational institutions understand how to clearly and competently set priorities, organize work with documents, arrange consultations, home visits, what events can be held, and what falls under the concept of social-pedagogical support and psychological assistance.

Ekaterina Petrutskaya addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech. Then, Lyudmila Filipovich spoke about the scientific and methodological support of document flow in the activities of social educators and psychologists in accordance with the legislation, and Irina Loshakova, director of secondary school No. 45 in Vitebsk named after V. F. Margelov, spoke about the managerial aspects of optimizing document flow.

On the same day, a Council of Directors of heads of secondary specialized educational institutions of the Vitebsk region was held at the Orsha State College of Food named after N. A. Kornachyonka.
