The "Arshansky Karavai" fair has started operating in Orsha
On the Central Square near the Trade House, the international universal fair "Arshanski Karavai" has started its work.
This year it gathered more than 36 participants from Minsk, Vitebsk, Mogilev, Bobruisk, Gomel, Smolensk, Bryansk, and other cities of Belarus and Russia. Individual entrepreneurs widely presented their products. Among them is a guest named Bali from distant India, who brought tea, cosmetics, and home textiles made of cotton for the residents of Orsha.
The first buyers were welcomed by the head of the trade and services department of the Orsha district executive committee Irina Martinovich and the director of the Orsha branch of the Vitebsk department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Igor Kosovsky.
– The "Arshanski Karavai" fair has become traditional for our region. Every year it attracts more participants from different regions. I am sure that the residents of Orsha will appreciate this, will gladly visit the fair, and make necessary purchases, – noted Irina Martinovich.
The fair features a wide selection of meat products, fish, honey, spices, fruits, candies, and cookies. In numerous trading houses, clothing, textiles, and gifts, interior items, dishes, children's toys, games, handicrafts, jewelry and accessories, packaging, health products, and much more are sold. Food tastings are held. As always, it is crowded near the concert venue, where creative groups from Orsha perform.
