В Орше член Совета Республики Марина Ильина провела личный прием граждан

In Orsha, member of the Council of the Republic Marina Ilina held a personal reception for citizens

The journalist of "Arshanskaya Gazeta" attended it and learned what questions the residents of the region addressed to the senator.

Despite the fact that Marina Alexandrovna is a member of the Permanent Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on education, science, culture, and social development, and the chairperson of the education committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, issues related to housing and communal services were also raised.

Thus, a resident of Orsha addressed the issue of replacing cold water supply pipes in a building that had previously undergone major repairs, as well as insulating the end walls of the facade of the five-story building.

Questions were raised regarding the protection of the rights of minors and extracurricular activities in the educational institution. The senator listened carefully to all applicants, provided certain clarifications, and took each appeal under control.

In an interview with journalists, Marina Ilyina stated that the outreach receptions of citizens are a common practice for senators, allowing them to keep their finger on the pulse and understand how certain legislative norms are applied in the field.

– Yes, we pass laws and can determine on the ground whether they work or if any adjustments are needed, – noted Marina Alexandrovna. – It is very important to communicate with people. This increases trust in local authorities and the Council of the Republic. After all, they do not always come to us with their problems. Often, they express words of gratitude or ask to make changes or amendments to a particular legislative project. I want to emphasize that the chairperson of the Council of the Republic, Natalia Ivanovna Kochanova, always pays close attention to the consideration of all issues submitted to us for personal reception, so our task is to listen carefully to everyone and help clarify the situation.
