In the Orsha maternity hospital, women who became mothers at Christmas were congratulated.
For many years, the campaign "Together for the Protection of Life" has been held in Orsha.
Traditionally, representatives of the authorities, public and youth organizations, and the Orthodox Church congratulate women who have become mothers in the New Year, Christmas, and other holidays at the maternity hospital. This year was no exception. The annual campaign has started. Three women from Orsha who gave birth to babies on January 7 were honored. The main heroines of the ceremony were Olga Bobkova, Kristina Ivchenko – mothers of daughters and Yulia Shumskaya – mother of a son.
Sincere words of congratulations and wishes for health, happiness, and wonderful motherhood were expressed by the deputy chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Anastasia Prokofyeva, the chief physician of the UZ "OCP", the chairman of the council of the Orsha District branch of the "White Russia" party Sergey Karak, the senior priest of the churches of the Orsha district, protodeacon Valery Serko, the first secretary of the BRSM Regional Committee Maria Trubkina, the chairwoman of the primary organization of the "Belarusian Union of Women" UZ "OCP" Yulia Babinchuk, and the head of the registry office Olesya Tkacheva.
The birth of babies is a great happiness for every family. Children are the future of our country, our city, the speakers noted. They emphasized that if boys and girls come into the world, it means the country will live, where care for a person begins from the day of his birth.
By tradition, the campaign "For the Protection of Life" was not without gifts for young mothers and their children, as well as creative surprises. Artistic groups from the House of Culture of Railway Workers brought good cheer to the heroines of the holiday and the medical staff of the maternity hospital.
