In the Orsha maternity hospital, women who became mothers on Constitution Day were honored.
In the Orsha City Maternity Hospital, the event "Little Citizen of the Republic of Belarus" took place for the second time. The initiator of the event in 2025 was the Commission on Labor and Social Issues of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly.
The event is dedicated to the Constitution Day. On March 15, two babies were born in Orsha. In the families of Anna Shvedova and Natalia Laikova, a significant event occurred – each had their firstborn. Anna became the mother of a girl, and Natalia – of a boy.
To congratulate the young mothers on the holiday and the birth of their children, deputies of the House of Representatives Gleb Gulenkov and Alexander Mikhno came. The parliamentarians approached the choice of gifts with special responsibility, striving to ensure that the presents were not only pleasant but also symbolic. The women were presented with soft blankets produced at the Orsha Linen Mill, books "Family – the Key to Peace" and a copy of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
The guests wished the mothers good health, family well-being, and happiness.
– May your children grow to bring you joy and become worthy citizens of our country, – the deputies encouraged the parents. – And, of course, do not stop at what you have achieved; may there be even more children's laughter in your homes!
