In the Orshansky district, three fires were recorded during the period from January 26 to February 1.

January 31 received a report of a fire in a passenger car in the city of Orsha. There are no casualties. As a result of the fire, the engine compartment, interior, and body of the car were damaged. The considered version of the cause of the fire is a violation of the rules for the operation of electrical networks and electrical equipment (short circuit of the car's wiring).

February 1 received a report of a fire in an outbuilding in the city of Orsha. There are no casualties. As a result of the fire, the roof, ceiling, and property of the outbuilding were damaged. The considered version of the cause of the fire is a violation of the rules for the design and installation of stoves, heat-generating units, and devices.

February 1 received a report that a citizen with a diagnosis of thermal burn from flames to the head, neck, and chest 1-2 degree S-10% was hospitalized in the reception room of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital. The cause of the fire was the victim's careless handling of fire (ignition of diesel fuel vapors while warming up the fuel tank).

As of February 2, 2026, there have been 1,024 fires registered in the Republic of Belarus, resulting in 132 fatalities.

Since the beginning of the year, there have been 131 fires in the Vitebsk region, resulting in 19 fatalities. In the Orsha district, there have been 12 fires, resulting in three fatalities.
