In the Novopolotsk Central City Hospital, after renovation, a surgical department was opened.
On the eve of the Day of National Unity, the surgical department was ceremoniously opened after renovation at the Novopolotsk Central City Hospital.
Significant event participants included the head of the main health department of the regional executive committee Mikhail Vishnevetsky, the chairman of the Novopolotsk city executive committee Igor Burmistrov, the administration, and staff of the NCGB.
The renovation of the department, designed for 55 beds, was the result of the joint efforts of the main health department of the Vitebsk regional executive committee and the Novopolotsk city executive committee.
Mikhail Vishnevetsky noted that the NCGB provides assistance not only to Novopolotsk residents but also to residents of nearby districts. The bright modern wards and procedure rooms will make patients' stay in the department more comfortable; moreover, the staff will work with even greater dedication in such conditions.
– In the Vitebsk region, repairs and modernization of healthcare institutions are being systematically carried out, both in terms of improving the conditions for patients and staff and in modernizing medical equipment, – emphasized Mikhail Leontievich.
The chief physician of the Novopolotsk Central City Hospital Irina Shemenkova reported that renovation work is already nearing completion in the cardiology and traumatology departments, and construction and installation work continues on the modernization of the therapeutic building with the replacement of elevator equipment and preparation of the premises for the installation of MRI.
