In the book “I. We. Remember” the stories of the “Belarusbank” employees from Orsha have been published.
As part of the Unified Information Day, the First Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Sergey Pats, met with the staff of the Bank Services Center No. 215 of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank".
The theme of the dialogue was "Belarus - a country of opportunities. Youth policy at the present stage." As the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly emphasized, youth is our future. And the direction we give to youth today and how they will develop will determine what our next generation will be like.
This and much more was discussed at the meeting. They reflected on the difficult choice facing today's school graduates: which educational institution to choose for admission and which profession to associate their lives with. Sergey Nikolaevich noted that there is currently an acute shortage of skilled workers. They also talked about a healthy lifestyle, sports activities, and state support for young families.
The state provides significant support to youth at all levels. This includes preferential lending, benefits, and subsidies. There are grants at the state level, scholarships from the President, meaning that everything is being done in our country to ensure that youth develop and shape the future of Belarus.
However, the meeting was not only a dialogue platform. A presentation of the second volume of the book "I. We. Remember" took place at the bank's head office, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. This initiative was launched in 2021 by the chairman of the United Organization of the BSJ bank Alla Raytses and is aimed at perpetuating the memory of the fighting relatives of bank employees. The project was so well received by the staff that it was decided to continue it and release a second volume. It contains about 100 stories with photos and archival documents, award sheets.
It also includes stories about grandfathers who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, employees of the Bank Services Center No. 215 of Orsha Natalia Kozachenko and Natalia Shkurko. In a solemn atmosphere, Sergey Pats presented the books to the girls.
By the way, the third volume, which was announced during the presentation, will include the memories of children of war. Its release is planned to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War next year.
A pleasant surprise for the bank's clients was the updated operational hall, the walls of which were covered with linen. Thanks to the artistic painting on them, an excerpt from the work of Yanko Kupala "Linen" appeared, a portrait of the Belarusian poet, flax flowers, a linen patch, and writing utensils. The plot was chosen for a reason, as Orsha and Yanko Kupala are closely connected. The village of Kopyss and the poet's dacha in Levki were places where the poet lived, created, and spent his free time.
