Today at the DКЖ a competition‑festival of specialized classes of Orsha schools “Choice is ours!” is taking place.

This is a joint project of the Department of Education of the Orsha District Executive Committee and the House of Culture of Railway Workers in Orsha, part of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Railway. The event is held to activate the professional self-determination of schoolchildren.

Each of the six profiles in the festival-competition is represented by two teams. School No. 21 and School No. 13 named after I. I. Yakubovsky – medical, School No. 11 and 12 – railway, Gymnasium No. 1 named after G. V. Semyonov and School No. 16 – military-patriotic, School No. 6 and School No. 23 – agrarian, School No. 20 named after I. A. Flyorov and Gymnasium No. 2 – engineering, and the pedagogical profile – School No. 2 named after B. L. Khigrin and School No. 3 named after V. S. Korotkevich.

The competition program consists of several stages. Teams present introductory presentations of their profiles, communicate with the audience, and guess items related to their future profession. In the creative competition "Kaleidoscope of Professions. #PLAYwithoutRules," teams will be invited to compose their verse for the overall final song of the festival-competition.

In the hall, the students are supported by teachers and classmates. The performances of the contestants are evaluated by a competent jury. The best teams will be awarded diplomas.
