Today, the anesthesiology and resuscitation department opened at the city hospital No. 2 in Baran, UZ "OCP" after the ongoing repairs.
The solemn event was attended by the chairman of the Orsha district executive committee Igor Moroz, the chairman of the Orsha district council of deputies Inna Khomutovskaya, the head of the main health department of the Vitebsk regional executive committee Mikhail Vishnevetsky, the management of the Orsha central polyclinic, and the hospital staff.
The department was expanded by 30% due to adjacent other premises and wards with a change in layout according to modern requirements. As a result, new offices appeared: a transfusiology room for blood storage, a room for storing medical equipment, a separate room for staff meals, a head nurse's office, a nurse's office, and a sanitary pass for the infectious box. New furniture, including medical, was purchased. 240 thousand rubles were spent on repairs from the district budget.
The updated department is designed for 6 beds for resuscitation patients of therapeutic profile, one of which is boxed for infectious profile patients.
The resuscitation unit is equipped with five ventilators, syringe dispensers, heat guns, anti-decubitus mattresses, and other modern equipment. The department staff consists of 19 employees: 5 doctors, 9 nurses, and 5 orderlies.
– Patients of therapeutic profile are treated in the hospital, accordingly, we provide resuscitation assistance to cardiological, pulmonological, infectious, palliative, and general therapeutic patients, – said the anesthesiologist-resuscitator (head) of the resuscitation department of city hospital No. 2 Yevgeny Sipachev. – During the repairs, modern medical equipment was acquired: a ventilator, cardiac monitors, syringe dispensers, anti-decubitus mattresses, and more. Everything necessary for providing quality and timely medical assistance to patients.
