A fluorography cabinet opened at the Beshenkovich District Hospital after renovation
The opening of social facilities before the Day of the October Revolution has become a good tradition in Belarus. On the eve of the holiday and in honor of the 60th anniversary of the hospital, local residents received an important gift: after renovations, a fluorography room with a new digital fluorograph was opened.
– Today, the Beshankovich Central District Hospital celebrates a significant event – 60 years. It is encouraging that healthcare in the region continues to develop, and the team is preserved, – noted the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Durnov. – In addition, we are opening interregional centers that improve access to quality medical care.
On the eve of the Day of the October Revolution, Vyacheslav Durnov congratulated the staff of the institution on the upcoming holiday, emphasizing that disputes about the past are inevitable, but we cannot ignore that this event became a catalyst for significant development for our country, leading to the emergence of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic.
– You can see how in recent years medical institutions have been transforming maximally and dramatically, and the Beshankovich Central District Hospital is no exception. Every year, new facilities appear here, and the conditions for both patients and staff of the district hospital are improving, – emphasized the head of the main health department of the regional executive committee Mikhail Vishnevetsky. – Therefore, on this holiday, I would like to wish that this house, which has become a second home for many of you, retains its warmth and coziness. This place, where you spend a lot of time, should develop, improve, and, of course, be updated with modern equipment. This is what is necessary for the quality and effective provision of medical care to the population.
– Our medicine is highly valued in different countries, – emphasized the chairwoman of the Beshankovich District Executive Committee Galina Unukovich. – And it is not by chance that people come to us for treatment from abroad, including to our hospital. Thank you for your work, for your sensitive and responsive hearts. I am confident that we will continue to develop.
Galina Unukovich pointed out that changes do not happen instantly. However, a lot has already been done. For example, the food block has been renovated, last year the material base in the physiotherapy department was updated, and today a fluorography room has been opened in Beshankovichi.
– Specialists in our Central District Hospital have excellent treatment methods. People come to us from Minsk, knowing about the affordable prices and opportunities that our hospital provides. It is important that we recognize and appreciate this, – she concluded. – Every person strives for happiness, regardless of their positions and titles. True happiness comes when we feel our significance to others. Remember that you are needed by people, the country, your relatives and loved ones. The main task is to maintain unity and mutual responsibility between the individual, society, and the state. By following these principles, we will undoubtedly achieve success.
As the chief physician of the Beshankovich Central District Hospital Svetlana Roshchina reported, the Unioptima-CR radiodiagnostic device, costing 148 thousand Belarusian rubles, was purchased at the expense of the republican budget. For the major renovation of the room, 370 thousand rubles were allocated from the local budget. The ventilation system in the room has been updated, an X-ray protective door has been installed, and the protective properties of the walls have also been enhanced. The adjacent rooms are reliably protected from the penetration of X-ray radiation.
In a conversation with journalists, radiologist Victoria Kachan noted that the Unioptima-CR device is of Belarusian production and has a sufficiently wide range of action.
– The new device provides accurate early diagnosis of chest diseases; we will be able to see the slightest changes. Modern equipment, ergonomic space, and thoughtful organization of the work process will allow examinations to be conducted faster, more accurately, and with maximum attention to the patient, – listed Victoria Kachan. – The advantages of the device also include high throughput, conducting screening at a high level with patient protection, quick and convenient processing, storage, and transmission of images, and the ability to compare X-ray images of the same individuals over time.
