In Baran, agricultural workers of Orshanshchina were honored.
In the House of Culture of the city of Baran, a solemn evening was held dedicated to the appreciation of workers in agriculture and the processing industry of the agro-industrial complex.
The event was opened by the collectives of the House of Culture. Then the hosts talked about how the agricultural sector was created and developed in Belarus, and what challenges workers overcome to ensure the food security of our country. After that, to loud applause, a loaf of the 2025 harvest was brought onto the festive stage and presented to the Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Vitaly Vorobyov.
– This holiday is a day of great respect for the people whose lives are dedicated to the most important, the most noble cause – working the land, – noted Vitaly Nikolaevich while congratulating the agricultural workers. – The work that feeds the country, strengthens its economic independence, and forms the basis of our common approach. The land of Orsha has always been famous for its grain growers, livestock breeders, and processing masters. And today, thanks to your selfless work, we can proudly speak of the stability and dynamic development of the agro-industrial complex of Orsha region.
Afterward, he awarded the best workers in the agricultural sector. For many years of conscientious work and high production indicators, more than 100 agrarians were awarded certificates and letters of gratitude of various levels. Young specialists were also felt at the celebration, who, despite their short experience in the industry, have already managed to prove themselves.
The solemn evening concluded with creative performances by the collectives of cultural institutions of the Orsha district.
