Target indicators of monetary policy for 2026 have been approved

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed decree No. 386 on November 3, which approves the target indicators of monetary policy for 2026. The document is adopted to create conditions for sustainable economic growth. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The list of indicators meets the requirements set for the work of the National Bank and the banking system as a whole - to promote economic growth alongside maintaining price and financial stability.

The decree establishes the following indicators:

- growth of consumer prices - no more than 7%;

- international reserve assets - at least $9.2 billion (the most important indicator of the country's economic security and its financial stability);

- the share of non-performing bank assets in assets exposed to credit risk - no more than 10% (maintaining such a level will ensure the stability of the entire banking system);

- the accessibility ratio of automated systems of payment market participants in the Republic of Belarus, through which settlement operations are carried out, - not lower than 99.8%;

- growth of investment financing volume - at least 13% (to ensure support for investment lending).
